September, 2024, Monthly Meeting - Kumihimo Necklace Part 2

KONNICHIWA! Hello!

This is Part 2 of the Kumihimo Color Block Necklace, a continuation of August’s class. In this class, we will be braiding our cords while dropping the individual beads into the braid to make a beautiful, beaded Kumihimo necklace. Then we will demonstrate how to finish the braids with your glue-in clasp. The cost for this class was covered in August’s class fee. You will need:

• Kumihimo disk, bobbins, and cords loaded with beads from August’s class
  
• Glue-in clasp to fit a 10 mm opening
• Fireline (to wrap the finished ends before gluing)
• Scissors
  
• E-6000 glue (we will have some to share)
• Toothpick (we will have some extra)
  
• Piece of foil (we will have some to share)
