November 2023 Monthly Meeting

NOVEMBER MEETING

Remember we're having Board elections at our November meeting.  This year we will be voting for our new President and Secretary.  Our candidates are Carol Cohen for President and Amy Conard for Secretary. We will take the vote at the beginning of the meeting.

NOVEMBER PROJECT 

It's hard to believe that it's November....already!!! The fall/winter holiday season has begun.  Halloween trick or treating is done for the year and turkey day and the winter holidays are right around the corner. 

To help us gear up for the winter season, our November meeting project, designed and taught by our own Geri Goebel, will be a beautiful holly pin (or pendant if you so choose). The holly leaves are made with vibrant green leather and are accented with a seed bead border and veins. Red berry beads complete the design.  This could become your favorite holiday decoration for your coat or scarf or perhaps a special present for someone this holiday season. 

The cost for the class and kit is only $30.  We ask that you register for the class by November 15th so Geri has sufficient time to prepare the class kits.

The kit will have all of the project supplies. Members will only need to bring:

- size 11 or 12 needle

- scissors

- 6 lb Fireline or comparable beading thread

- magnifier and light, if you need them
