March 2023 Monthly Meeting - Peyote with Jeannette

Hello Beaders!

We will be welcoming spring by making this fun and colorful Miss Daisy peyote cuff by Fusion Beads. I get so many compliments when I wear mine! The easy pattern has just four colors and works up fairly quickly. You will learn the fundamentals of even-count, flat, peyote bead weaving plus the three-drop method, as well as ways to add different clasps.

The cost for the meeting project is $25 including the pattern.  Participants will need to bring their own materials, including beads, as noted below:

• 3 grams size 11 transparent silver-lined orange Delica beads (DB0045)
• 4 grams size 11 opaque turquoise blue Delica beads (DB0725)
• 3 grams size 11 transparent silver-lined chartreuse Delica beads (DB0147)
• 4 grams size 11 transparent silver-lined bright fuchsia Delica beads (DB1340)
• Clasp of your choice (i.e., two 8mm round beads, toggle clasp, 21-23 mm slide clasp (my preference with peyote cuffs), 2-strand or 3-strand tube clasp)
• Pattern (there will be a few extra copies available (I will email the pattern once you register)
• Beading needle
• 6 lb. crystal Fireline or Wildfire
• Scissors
• Bead mat
• Light and magnifier, if needed
