January 2023 Monthly Meeting - Member Social & Charity Project

Hello Bead Buddies!

Happy New Year to you and your families! May 2023 bring you health, happiness, and creativity!

For January's member meeting we will be socializing while making simple beaded bracelets for Beat It Beads, a wonderful organization that donates beaded bracelets to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Abington Hospital, and The American Cancer Society. The bracelets are given to women who are undergoing cancer therapy. Each piece bears a "Beat It" charm as a reminder that they can indeed beat cancer.  Beat It Beads has been one of our bead charities and we look forward to helping them create bracelets for them to distribute.

There is no charge for this meeting so sign up now and join in the fun! Members will be provided all materials to make the bracelets, however bead donations are welcome. if you have elastic cord, they can also use that. Members should bring a bead mat and a  light/magnifier, if needed.  Since we'll have ample opportunity to socialize while we create bracelets, feel free to bring snacks to share with your bead buddies.
