Resin Pendant and Earrings at Blue Santa

For our May program, we will be meeting at Blue Santa where Carole Haines will guide members in creating a pendant and earrings using UV resin and silicone molds. Depending on how quickly members work, some will make just one pendant and pair of earrings and others may be able to make more. The class project cost includes the resin, use of all the silicone molds, tools, UV lights, and ephemera (dried flowers, small charms/metal pieces, small paper pictures/designs,etc. ) that members can put into their resin pieces.  We'll start the class promptly at 7 PM so everyone has sufficient time to make their resin creations and we'll be sure that we're finished and have everything cleaned up so the shop can close as close to 9 PM as possible.

The average size of the pendant molds is between 1" and 2" and the earring molds are usually under that size. The molds are in a variety of shapes and sizes that you may chose from.  If you have a charm or some other small items you might want to embed in resin, please feel free to bring them and Carole usually knows if they are compatible with UV resin.

If you want to use metal bezels instead of the clear silicone molds, or add findings to you resin piece, for example chain for the pendant or earring findings, they are in addition to the class cost and you may purchase them separately at the shop, 

Space is limited to 16 paid participants for this class based on room size limitations. For this reason, this is a members only event. So sign up quickly before all the spots are sold out. 

The total cost for members for this class/tools and supplies,except those noted above, is $30/person. 

Attention members: UV Resin is loads of fun to play with, does not require mixing like regular resin and it cures very quickly (usually under 4-5 minutes) under the UV light.  It can also be a little messy and we recommend that you wear clothing that you don't mind potentially spilling things on.
