Hello Beaders!
Welcome to the dog days of summer! We think August's class will help bring something "cool" to your wardrobe. One of our favorite instructors, Liz Steel-Coates, is coming back to teach us how to make the stunning and fashionable Wire-wrapped Cluster Necklace! And remember: this class and kit/materials are free of charge for members!
Students will learn how to create a wire-wrapped cluster of beads, as well as how to attach chain and looped head pins with beads in order to create a gorgeous, long necklace valued between $60 and $75. Students should bring with them a creative spirit, any pliers and wire-cutters you have, a bead mat, and a light/magnifier as needed. Liz will provide a variety of tools, beads, wire, headpins, and jump rings, all you need to make a one-of-a-kind piece.
Remember: Throughout the rest of 2022, all active members whose dues are up to date are welcome to participate in all of our member meeting projects for FREE, as long as funds permit! MLBS will pay the cost of member meeting program classes through the end of 2022. This class, including all materials, will be FREE!
Guests pay $5 for the meeting plus the price of the class/kit.
