MLBS wishes you, your family, and friends a very happy holiday season. May your holidays be filled with joy, good health, and laughter.
And what better way is there to kick off the holidays than a party! It's time for our annual MLBS member holiday party, and everyone is invited to attend. We'll be celebrating on Tuesday, December 21st from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at our usual meeting location, Folsom Church of Christ. Please let us know that you will be joining us so we're sure to have enough food and drinks for everyone.
Refreshments - This year we'll be continuing our tradition of doing pot luck for appetizers and desserts. All members are asked to bring something to share (last name beginning with A-L, appetizers and M-Z, desserts). MLBS is supplying plastic and paper cups, bowls, plates, utensils, and bottled water. If possible, bring the food that you will be sharing in a disposable container or be sure to claim your serving dish at the end of the meeting.
Gift Swap - We will be playing our popular gift swap game during the party. Each member is asked to bring a new beading-related gift, wrapped and worth $20, for the swap. The gifts will be placed in the middle of the table, and after we've all filled our plates, the game will begin!
50/50 and Door Prizes - We will also do a 50/50 raffle during our party. The holiday party 50/50 has been especially popular with the prize being substantial every year we've done it. In addition, there will be door prize drawings throughout the party.
