October 2021 Monthly Meeting - Polymer Clay

Hello Beaders!

Our September meeting was a great success, finally gathering with friends, old and new! It sure was wonderful to see everyone again! We are now happily planning more fun in-person meetings with favorite instructors and a few new ones. For October, we are welcoming back our favorite Jenny Davies-Reazor, who will teach us how to make beautiful and unique Lunata Crescent earrings or pendants with polymer clay.

These simple polymer pieces are colorful and lightweight. Wear them as a pair of earrings, or customize the larger size into a unique pendant. Worn upturned, they catch good energy and bring good luck. Pieces will be textured and layered in paint to accentuate the impressions. We WILL be finger painting!

This project will introduce this versatile medium and is suitable for all polymer experience levels. Participants will learn the basics of conditioning, working, and curing polymer clay so they can set out on their own creative explorations. We will make either Lunata Crescent earrings or pendants, exploring texture, sculpted elements, and painting techniques.

The class and materials cost is $25.00 and will include clay, tools, textures, paints, etc.
