May Monthly Meeting

April showers bring May flowers! We are excited to introduce a new instructor to MLBS, Lisa Applegate of Studio 36. Lisa will be teaching us to wire-wrap Czech glass flowers and other beads. Then we will use jump rings to attach the components to a chain in order to create the dainty Monet’s Garden bracelet (Shown in the second and third pictures). Those of us who have ventured to Studio 36 have seen Lisa's amazing store with beautiful finished pieces, unique kits and her gorgeous one of a kind individually hand painted flowers. Well, she will be bringing a selection of them for you to purchase and enjoy! Make sure you stop by the trunk show before they disappear. 

The kit and class pricing is $35 for members ($40 for non-members) and includes all of the materials to create the Monet’s Garden bracelet. Please bring a bead mat, wire cutters, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers and a little bit of your own creativity.
