Main Line Bead Society is excited to announce the first of our Saturday classes, to be held on April 6, 2019. In this workshop, we will be making a beautiful and elegant herringbone necklace and earrings with Elizabeth Karasek (Live to Dream). Students will learn how to wire wrap semi-precious beads while mastering the fundamentals of wire wrapping jewelry. This herringbone pattern is arranged so that it is symmetrical yet opposite to the eye, representing the bone structure of a fish.
The workshop fee is $75 for members (including kit), $85 for non-members. The price includes the kit, which will include copper wire, ear wires, chain, toggle, and choice of beaded stones. Sterling silver wire will be provided, as requested, for an extra fee. Additional kits will be for sale. Elizabeth will also bring some of her beautiful crafted jewelry for sale, so bring some extra cash!
